Vin Diesel is no stranger to action films and stunts!
The 49-year-old actor is starring in the highly anticipated sequel, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, where he has plenty of explosive moments, but when ET’s Carly Steel caught up with him at the Los Angeles premiere on Thursday, he admitted that his most insane stunt took place off the screen.
“The craziest stunt I ever did? Fatherhood,” he quipped.
The actor is father to three kids, daughters Hania and Pauline (named after his late Fast & Furious co-star, Paul Walker) and son Vincent with his girlfriend, Paloma Jimenez.
Jokes aside, Diesel admitted that his craziest stunt to date actually came from the first xXx movie.
“In the first xXx, I was high up in the mountains and I had to stop within two feet of the ledge, and if I would’ve overshot that mark, I would’ve not been here today,” he revealed.
As proud as he is for this new film, Diesel was also excited to have Jimenez on his arm for the premiere.
“I mean, I’m speechless,” he gushed to ET. “She’s so stunningly beautiful, but the thing people don’t realize is she’s my rock, so she’s so stunningly beautiful on the inside.”
“She’s everything. She’s the perfect mother,” he added, noting that she doesn’t want to do press and sweetly yelling, “I love you,” to her during the interview.
“She’s just so wonderful in so many ways.”
