There won’t be any caroling for Meghan Trainor this holiday season.
The 22-year-old pop star announced on Instagram that she was put on vocal rest by her doctor due to a recent illness. “I posted last week that I wasn’t feeling great, but was powering through the best that I could,” she wrote in a note to fans on Thursday morning. “Unfortunately, I am not feeling any better and after leaving the doctor today, I have been put on strict vocal rest for the next two weeks.”
Trainor will be canceling the concerts that were scheduled over the next few weeks, including performances in Connecticut, New York City, Washington, D.C., Florida and her appearance at the Jingle Ball in Atlanta, Georgia.
